It wouldn’t be Oregon football unless the weight room was floored with Brazilian hardwoods. GoDucks.com revealed the latest photos of their new football facilities and it’s all it was cracked up to be.
Phil Knight dropped some serious coin – to the tune of $68 million – to ensure his Ducks had the latest and greatest in a 145,000 square foot Taj Mahal of football facilities. Knight’s dead set on ensuring the Ducks remain a highly sought after spot for recruits as the Ducks decked out player’s areas including a locker room complete with maple lockers and iPod docking stations and a team room with leather easy chairs for each player. Suffice it to say the coach’s didn’t get the short end of the stick.
Knight ensured his post-Chip Kelly era coach Mark Helfrich will be more than comfortable in his office perched over the practice field. Helfrich will be able to drop down TV’s and shades for his viewing comfort with the touch of a button.
Guests to the facility will be greeted with 65 55″ TV’s that can be synced to display one image or all show something different. After the break, we provide a photo gallery of the facility – that will make you jealous on many levels. Thanks goducks.com for the photos and for making us wish Phil Knight was a diehard of our team.
