I think of all positions in this draft, WR is the most polorizing and where prospects can vary the most from scout to scout, as it were. Greg Childs I would think has crawled up to at least the 3rd again. no? And I think marvin jones could go a bit higher, and Dwight a bit lower. Jeff Fuller? enigma. I suspect Jarius Wright is going to get reached for earlier, too. But great reports on these guys.

I’m not a huge fan of Childs. He has looked better in the pre-draft process but I don’t see enough yet to rank him ahead of these other guys. He’s a 5th rd prospect for me. Jones is definitely climbing with a solid, consistent showing during pre-draft workouts. Jeff Fuller is frustrating. I like Jarius Wright…just don’t know where he’s going to fit in the NFL. I liked him better than Adams in 2011 and vice versa in 2010.

Your WR rankings are very interesting. I know you have a love affair with Kendall Wright but its going to be hard to run away from NFL secondaries when you are running a 4.61 40. Obviously the film tells a different story and the 40 yard dash isn’t the most imporant factor (unless your Al Davis) but he might struggle at the next level. At 5’10 and only 194lbs he’s also going to take a licking. With the success of Blackmon, Weeden, Griffin, Wright I think its pretty safe to say Big 12 defenses weren’t great. I’m certainly not implying Wright needs to be dropped out of the top 5 but Michael Floyd should defintely be ahead of him. He has the makings of a #1 in the NFL. I also think you are going to see Stephen Hill sneak into the back end of round 1 possibly early 2nd, great measurables and not having good production at GT hasn’t hurt the last two wr’s coming out of there.
