PROFETTA’S PICKS

Green Bay (-6) @ Detoit

The Lions’ history of ineptitude on Thanksgiving Day is scary, but this is a differentDetroitteam than the recent offerings. A strong pass rush and a healthy Matthew Stafford gives the Lions a puncher’s chance in a shootout.

Prediction: Packers 38, Lions 34

Miami (+7) @ Dallas

The Cowboys should win, but I’m not comfortable giving seven to a team as hot as the Dolphins.

Prediction: Cowboys 23, Dolphins 17

San Francisco (+3.5) @ Baltimore

If the Ravens can’t get fired up for this one, there’s a serious problem.

Prediction: Ravens 20, 49ers 16

Arizona (+3) @ St. Louis

Ummmm…I guess I’ll take the home team in the Matt Kalil Bowl.

Prediction: Rams 31, Cardinals 27

Buffalo (+8) @ N.Y. Jets

Rex Ryan’s crew should be able to get well at home against the injury-ravaged Bills.

Prediction: Jets 24, Bills 9

Cleveland (+8.5) @ Cincinnati

In what is usually a hard-fought divisional rivalry, that spread is just a little too rich for my taste.

Prediction: Bengals 24, Browns 20

Houston (+3) @ Jacksonville

Arian Foster and theHoustondefense step up big. No worries here.

Prediction: Texans 27, Jaguars 10

Carolina (-3.5) @ Indianapolis

I heard somewhere that Peyton Manning isn’t playing.

Prediction: Panthers 23, Colts 17

Tampa Bay (+3) @ Tennessee

I’m sick of getting burned by Chris Johnson.

Prediction: Buccaneers 24, Titans 20

Minnesota (+9.5) @ Atlanta

If Adrian Peterson can’t go, this one could be over by halftime.

Prediction: Falcons 38, Vikings 14

Chicago (+4.5) @ Oakland

Until I get a better read on Caleb Hanie, I’ll play it safe. Matt Forte could make me regret this one.

Prediction: Raiders 23, Bears 16

Washington (+4) @ Seattle

I like the Seahawks to win at home, but in a contest that should feature plenty of turnovers by both sides, four points seems like a lot.

Prediction: Seahawks 16, Redskins 13

New England (-3) @ Philadelphia

Gronkowski and Hernandez working those Eagles’ linebackers and safeties? Good night, nurse!

Prediction: Patriots 30, Eagles 19

Denver (+6.5) @ San Diego

Philip Rivers’ nightmare season continues as “Von Doom” exploits the Chargers’  banged-up offensive line.

Prediction: Broncos 20, Chargers 19

Pittsburgh (-10) @ Kansas City

The Chiefs’ season is over and they know it. The Steelers can’t afford to let up in a tight AFC North race.

Prediction: Steelers 27, Chiefs 3

N.Y. Giants (+7) @ New Orleans

The Giants’ could be headed for a second-half swoon.

Prediction: Saints 30, Giants 20

BRAD’S PICKS

Green Bay (-6) @ Detoit

I have predicted a 15-1 finish for the Pack and this is where the loss comes on a game winning field goal on Turkey Day.

Prediction: Lions 31, Packers 28

Miami (+7) @ Dallas

Seven points to the Dolphins has me wondering if Vegas doesn’t know something.  The ‘Phins are the hottest team in the NFL south of Green Bay but my gut says the Cowboys manhandle them on Thanksgiving.

Prediction: Cowboys 38, Dolphins 17

San Francisco (+3.5) @ Baltimore

John wins the battle of the Harbaugh’s.

Prediction: Ravens 21, 49ers 13

Arizona (+3) @ St. Louis

I’m going with the Rams in this one only because my wife said so.

Prediction: Rams 27, Cardinals 20

Buffalo (+8) @ N.Y. Jets

The Bills have been decimated by injuries and I don’t see them scoring much in this contest.

Prediction: Jets 27, Bills 10

Cleveland (+8.5) @ Cincinnati

The Browns play well enough to stay in this one late but can’t pull it out in the end.

Prediction: Bengals 17, Browns 13

Houston (+3) @ Jacksonville

Jacksonvillecan’t score enough points in Matt Leinart’s breakout game.

Prediction: Texans 31, Jaguars 6

Carolina (-3.5) @ Indianapolis

Camgets real healthy in this one.

Prediction: Panthers 28, Colts 13

Tampa Bay (+3) @ Tennessee

Chris Johnson sucks…angry CJ fantasy owner.

Prediction: Buccaneers 27, Titans 13

Minnesota (+9.5) @ Atlanta

No Adrian Peterson, no chance

Prediction: Falcons 24, Vikings 10

Chicago (+4.5) @ Oakland

Toughest game to pick of the week.  Caleb Hanie…yeah I’ll go with him.

Prediction: Bears 27, Raiders 24

Washington (+4) @ Seattle

Seattlefinds a way to sneak one out at home in a battle of the inept.

Prediction: Seahawks 20, Redskins 13

New England (-3) @ Philadelphia

The Pats are peeking at the right time.

Prediction: Patriots 28, Eagles 17

Denver (+6.5) @ San Diego

Touchdown Timmy pulls one off in dramatic fashion against the reeling Chargers.

Prediction: Broncos 24, Chargers 20

Pittsburgh (-10) @ Kansas City

Tyler Palko against the Steelers…I’ll go with the Steelers.

Prediction: Steelers 27, Chiefs 6

N.Y. Giants (+7) @ New Orleans

Let the annual Tom Coughlin hot seat begin.

Prediction: Saints 33, Giants 24
